Class B Fires – Flammable Liquids – Foam and Powder Extinguishers – Do not use water on these as it will make the fire spread more quickly. Class C Fires – These involve Flammable Gases like Butane and Propane – you should only use a Powder Fire Extinguisher on this type of fire. Electrical Fires – Electrical Fires are self-explanatory and to put out one of these you should only use a CO2 Fire Extinguisher.
